Writerly update

Hi all! I’m excited to share that I’ve officially declared my major in Creative Writing at Hamline University! As I’m finishing up my first year, I’m getting back in the swing of putting Comforter together. Hopefully it’ll be in your (and my) hands soon. Exciting things coming!

Comforter and college

Hi! As I gear up to release Comforter, I’m also gearing up to start my freshman year at Hamline for Creative Writing. Packing up for dorms, organizing classes, and sifting through old portfolio content (and working) have taken up a large part of my days. But even then, I am so SO excited to release Comforter.

Comforter is pretty much everything I’ve written since sophomore year—minus a few of the longer short stories. It can be super intimidating to release that into the world - but I’m working on it! Publishing solo is not for the faint of heart, and it’s taken me months of trial and error to get to a point where I feel like I’m close to releasing it.
